🌿 Seeing HTR in Everyday Life
You don’t need to start anything new to see HTR in your life.
The areas that shape health and wellbeing are already present in everyday living — often quietly, often unnoticed. These areas don’t just describe actions — they are the language of HTR. When you hear words like Direction, Learning, Self-Care, or Play, you’re already thinking in terms of health and wellbeing. HTR is simply a way of recognising these parts of life and seeing how they naturally connect.
Before change, before structure, before improvement, there is awareness of what is already here.
🧭 Direction
Moments when you think about where you’re heading, what matters to you, or what you want more (or less) of in life.
📚Learning
Any time you gain new understanding — through conversation, experience, reading, listening, or simply noticing something differently.
🧠Self-Care
The small ways you look after yourself, whether that’s taking a break, setting a boundary, or doing something that helps you feel a little better.
😴 Sleep & Rest
The ways your body and mind pause and recover — night sleep, naps, lying down, zoning out, or simply stopping for a while.
🏃 Movement
All the ways your body moves — walking, lifting, stretching, working, playing, or just going about your day.
🥗 Food & Nourishment
Eating in any form — quick meals, shared meals, snacks, routines, cravings, habits.
👥 Connection
Conversations, shared moments, small interactions, time with others — even brief exchanges are part of this.
🎨 Play
Lightness, humour, hobbies, creativity, games, curiosity — moments where life feels less serious.
🌳 Nature
Time outside, natural light, fresh air, weather, seasons, plants, landscapes — however you experience the natural world.
HTR begins with noticing.
These areas don’t need to be added to life — they are already there, in different forms and at different times. Simply recognising them can change how you see your days, and how the different parts of your life support your overall health and wellbeing.
Awareness is where HTR starts.
